Hi there:
I hope your week is going well and that things aren’t too crazy in your household with the holidays in full swing. Even though it feels like Kendall and I have an overwhelming list of things to do, we always find time to pause and take comfort in the fact that we have an incredible community that is rooting for us, and backing independent news for Palm Springs. Heck, you even forgave us for getting the day of the week wrong in this morning’s email!
Since we launched this fundraiser last week, The Post has welcomed 38 new recurring members to our community and received donations from 300 of you. We appreciate the vote of confidence and will continue to deliver the highest quality reporting we can deliver. If you already approve of our work and have not contributed, please consider supporting us now. |

Our fundraiser ends TONIGHT and we know there’s more of you out there who believe in our mission. Think of a donation today as an investment in a community resource for you and the greater community.
Last week, we told you about some of the reporting we’ve done this year that has made a real impact on our city. Here’s some of our other achievements in 2024 so that you know what it is you’re investing in:
-
We’re on track to publish almost 500 stories this year. All of them focus on Palm Springs, and all of them are free to read.
-
We sent out more than 3.7 million total emails 🤯
-
We had opportunities to evolve and experiment, including the introduction of some AI tools into our process that allow us to produce more stories in less time.
-
We used "snail mail" over the summer to send a note of gratitude (and some cool stickers) to supporters who opted in.

If you are ready to make a contribution, The Post is ready to make the most of your gift in 2025. Are you ready to support our newsroom focused only on Palm Springs? |

As always, thank you for your continued readership and consideration. You are what drives The Post each day and we look forward to expanding our coverage for you in 2025.
With gratitude, |

P.S. Do you know someone who appreciates our type of work and might be interested in supporting The Palm Springs Post? It would be a great help if you could tell them about The Post and encourage them to subscribe. It's free and always will be. |
